| ⛧ First Impressions |
| ❱ VISUAL: Standing at somewhere around four foot, Chip looks like any typical ten-year-old child--for the most part. While not yet stretched out by puberty, they are lacking in some baby fat which gives them a slightly underfed appearance despite no longer living without adequate nutrition. Their skin is a warm mid-toned brown, and their eyes are dark brown with an epithanic fold. Their nose is flat and wide, and their darkish-brown hair is slightly wavy and worn at shoulder length--they look vaguely Filipino, but beyond that their ancestry is difficult to tell at a glance. Often Chip bears the marks of a recent fight, either in the form of bruises or bandages over healing cuts. Generally Chip is clad is a simple outfit of t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers, with a jacket added on when the weather turns cold. ❱ AURAL: Chip fluctuates between being enthusiastically overloud and shy mumbling, with about the diction and vocabulary you would expect of a kid their age. They have a vaguely hispanic accent, but mostly in that they can actually fucking pronounce 'jalapeno'. ❱ OLFACTORY: Chip doesn't smell particularly remarkable--their body odor has a slight undercurrent of rot, but it's not apparent unless they haven't washed in two weeks and also been running a god damn marathon. Otherwise it's just...kid smell. ❱ DEMEANOR: Chip's posture and manner is usually pretty closed off, and they react with suspicion to pretty much anyone approaching them. They frown more often than they smile and are very skittish, either flinching away or puffing up at the first sign of conflict, depending on their temper. |

| ❱ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Chip isn't touch averse, but they are very suspicious of people--it'll take a while before they're comfortable with physical affection, especially from adults. When they do trust someone they can be very clingy, though, so hugs from close CR are welcome. ❱ RELATIONSHIPS: Aside from the fact that Chip is literally a child, they are pretty solidly aromantic and when they are older settle into being asexual as well. I'm not averse to something queer-platonic developing with someone of their age and maturity level, but it's not very likely. ❱ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: If Chip gets upset, this is...probably an inevitability. They are still a ten-year-old child, but they are vicious when they initiate any attack and are very hard to calm back down. Depending on their control of their magic, they might be somewhat stronger than they should be, but those spells rarely have an effect other than increasing their stamina. ❱ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Chip's mind is a riot of conflicting impulses and teachings. On the one hand, they have a truly caring and giving nature and generally want to help those around them, but the combination of their demonic temper and a history of abuse has left Chip with a suspicion and fear of others that runs bone-deep. Their mind is also somewhat alien due to their heritage, and they are capable of understanding eldritch concepts and dimensions that entirely elude humans on a biological level. ❱ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Chip has third-generation demonic heritage, and as a result they have a natural access to black magic (as opposed to the ritualistic methods normal humans have to use to wield any form of magic). Their control is shaky at best due to only recently starting to try and control it themself rather than suppress it, and the effects they can cause are all fairly low-level: minor curses of bad luck or inducing very mild magical sicknesses. On top of this, they are also able to visually 'see' magic, both the fabric of spells and the inherent nature of any living being. They also have a very basic grasp of typical ritual magic spells, but without proper tools they cannot cast. ❱ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Chip shows some minor signs of malnourishment in their past, and has plenty of small scars from various fights they've gotten into. They are a fairly healthy child, not particularly prone to sickness, but very close inspection of their skin or muscular tissue would show signs of trauma with no clear physical source--it's as if the tissues have been drained of vitality on a minor level many, many times. This is due to their former step-father's repeated use of white magic paraphernalia as punishments over the course of several years. ❱ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Chip is a victim of physical and emotional abuse, targeted at their demonic heritage and performed in large part through religion and white magic. While they have gotten out of the situation and are starting to recover, they still have a fear of aggressive repercussions and can occasionally flash back to their trauma. |

I don't mind at all. ❱ FOURTHWALLING: I don't know...how you would, since they're an OC, but go for it?????? ❱ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: I have no personal triggers! ❱ ANYTHING ELSE? Chip is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns! While I'm fine with IC confusion or conflict over this fact, I would appreciate it if the correct pronouns are used OOCly. |
